Brunei MYCE is back for the 2nd year with experts and business leaders from Brunei Darussalam and all over the world who will be addressing various concerns pertaining to the five fields: Islamic, Digital Technology, Energy, Climate Change and Economy. With a focus on the theme “Inclusive, Resilient and Sustainable Economic Growth – Brunei Darussalam Perspective”, this 5-week event will feature thematic exhibitions, conferences and over 100 speakers to promote knowledge sharing and business activities in various sectors.

With Malay Islam Monarchy as the governing philosophy of the country, Brunei Darussalam practices and incorporates the teaching of Islam within its administrative system, thus shaping its culture and way of life. Themes associated with the teaching of Islam remain very significant to Brunei Darussalam and are considered one of the main focuses of MYCE 2022.

DIGITECH WEEK
8-11 June 2022

The Digital Technology theme is back this year and will focus on aspects of Info Communication, ‘Smart Transport’ and the Creative Industry. This is in line with the nation’s efforts to bring a digital transformation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 with emphasis on the culture and usage of digital technology in the community as well as promoting business opportunities in the digital technology sector.

ENERGY WEEK
15-18 June 2022

This year’s Energy theme takes into account Brunei Darussalam’s achievements in the oil and gas sector for over 90 years, giving the country an advantage in terms of experience and technical expertise in the field of exploration, drilling and extraction, processing and production of oil and gas. Much can be shared and learned from the challenges and strategies of other oil and gas producing countries in the effort to develop clean and sustainable energy sources.

CLIMATE CHANGE WEEK
22-26 June 2022
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time. Brunei Darussalam is dedicated to safeguarding our forests and ecosystem whilst working towards finding solutions to overcome global warming with continued efforts in the development of clean and sustainable energy sources, pioneering technologies and ground-breaking ideas. Therefore, climate change is a important cluster in Brunei MYCE 2022.

ECONOMY WEEK
28 June – 2 July 2022

Brunei Darussalam’s aspiration to increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and diversify its economy after facing the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic means it is vital to the country to focus on this new economic cluster in MYCE 2022.
