Opened in 1988 by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah, this museum showcases traditional technology employed by the Kampong Ayer residents in their livelihood through a series of exhibits depicting the old Bruneian life on the water village. Take yourself back to the past through dioramas of villagers and their crafts such as boat-making, fishing, metalworking and goldsmithing.
