The Alai Gayoh, which means large house in Dusun, is a traditional wooden dwelling with much history. It has been turned into a blissful abode built on top of a calm lagoon overseeing much of Bukit Udal’s scenic greeneries.

If you are going to visit here, make sure to make an appointment beforehand with Eyad Samhan at +673 864 0437. Travellers are welcomed with delightful Dusun cuisine and a treasure trove of ethnic culture. You’ll find yourself foraging from the nearby lands, catching breathtaking views and sceneries, and immersing yourself in the decades-old worth of customs, practices and music of the Dusun people.
