This December, Heartwrite Co proudly presents The Tiny Lit Fest 2019, a local literary festival aimed at bringing together writing, reading and publishing communities in Brunei.

From the 4-8 December 2019, there will be a series of micro-events happening at various locations in Brunei Muara, with something to suit everyone. If you’re a writer or storyteller, they’ve got masterclasses with critically acclaimed international authors Mina V Esguerra and Hanna Alkaf, a casual writers’ jam, illustrative art workshops and a night of spoken word and poetry. If you’re a reader, they’ve got book club discussions and genre conversations with writers. If you’re looking for family friendly events, they’ve got storytelling workshops and fun library activities for children. If you’re on a budget, they’ve got some free events in our schedule. And if you’re a writer or publisher interested in making connections in the community, they’ve got dialogues and meet and greets with local publishers and writers (limited slots – email them at heartwritepub@gmail.com to book a seat!)

5 days, 15 events, 8 partners and 9 locations. Stories are for everyone – these events are too. Book a ticket, pull up a chair, and be a part of our shared story this December at The Tiny Lit Fest 2019. Follow them on Instagram @thetinylitfest or on Facebook (The Tiny Lit Fest) for regular updates leading up to the festival.
